So this morning, my husband and I sat down with our plans and made our meal plans for the week. We’re both a creature of habit and like things simple so this first week we are just going to eat the same things everyday, next Sunday when we prep for the following week we will mix it up a little.
So I’m on Plan B (1500-1799 Calories), and my husband is on Plan C (1,800-2099 Calories). With that in mind we have some of the same core items, but we will be eating much differently for our 5 meals.
So we each took turns picking out our foods corresponding to each color, and now we’re ready to go. I’m about to head to the grocery store to buy everything, and I have containers and ziplock bags that I plan to use to label everything. ex. “Sarah-Monday-Breakfast” for the entire week.
Planning for the week in advance helps us make sure we have everything we need to succeed and follow our plan, as well as make sure that we don’t have to waste time preparing meals and instead choose unhealthy options. We’ve always meal planned on Sunday/Monday so for us this is quite normal, just changing up the food choices.
