Asset_440Guess what? My awesome team of amazing Health & Fitness coaches is MASSIVELY growing! Like SO MUCH! I’m so blown away. WOW!!

I became a health & fitness coach after my amazing transformation 53+lbs, I found that the key to stay consistent was having a coach to motivate me, hold me accountable, and make sure I hit my goals. Wanting to pay it forward, I decided to become a coach.

I work full-time so I really don’t have the bandwidth to really coach more than 5-10 people per month, so I decided to grow a team of other ladies with the same goal in mind so we can touch more and more people. Which became the Sparkle Squad! Now with over 50 Coaches we are so strong and one of the fastest growing teams.

I’m now opening up my mentorship to add a few more coaches to my team for next month. You’ll be given FULL Training, you literally don’t need any special certificate or credentials, just a passion to help others, and I can teach you the rest.

Eating Clean Tip : Planning!

Clean Eating PlanningPreparing for your Week is so Important!!
 
Planning out your weekly meals will not just save you Time, and Money but it will also keep you focused on what you should be eating, less time trying to “figure out dinner” and resorting to something bad.
 
I totally recommend meal prep, it’s something my husband and I do EVERY week. It takes 2-4 hours (depending on what we’re making) and then we heat up our meals in 1 min or less when it’s time to eat. No more wondering what to eat, or cooking during the week. We’re so busy, this is a lifesaver for us.
 
If you don’t want to meal prep (I realize there are people who just won’t) then at least write out your meals, plan for the upcoming week, and figure out what you’re going to eat, and stick to it. Buy all the ingredients on Sunday night so you have everything ready before that day rolls around.
 
I promise you’ll save money, and be prepared to eat well all week! No more last minute oops.
 
Pro tip- Plan around things you already have on hand, then you’re just “completing meals” instead of buying everything from scratch.

Healthy Sweet Potato Chicken Fajitas

These were literally one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever tried. And absolutely Delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Chicken Breast (Boneless & Skinless)
  • 1/2 Green Pepper, 1/2 Red Pepper, 1/2 Yellow Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Chili Powder
  • Cumin
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Wax Paper

BEFORE GOING IN THE OVEN

Preheat Oven 400 Degrees

  1. Take 2 Sweet Potatoes and poke them 6-10 times with a fork. Microwave for 5 min.
  2. Take them out, cut in 1/2 and scoop out the center of the Sweet Potato (leave some potato inside-Like a Potato Skin)
  3. Place them on Wax paper close together.
  4. Cut 1/2 Green, Yellow and Red Peppers into slices and then 1/2 (place on wax paper)
  5. Make a seasoning of: 2TSP Chili Powder, 1 TSP Cumin, 1 TSP Garlic Powder, 1 TSP Salt, 1 TSP Pepper, mix together with fork.
  6. Sprinkle Olive Oil on everything, then sprinkle with seasoning.
  7. Place Chicken Breast on-top of Peppers Drizzle with Oil & seasoning, flip & repeat
  8. Put entire Sheet into Oven for 20 min.
  9. Shred chicken & mix with peppers, place inside of Potato Skins
  10. Top with Cheese and bake for 5 more min

Leave the PAST behind!

BUT- that is all reflecting on the past is good for.

Do I think that you can look at things for you past and learn from them? YES

Do I think that there are memories in the past you want to hang onto? YES

BUT- Stop dwelling in the past, that BAD relationship, that BAD time, those CRAPPY friends, the Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda!!

Lead the past behind and write your new chapter.

Guess what? Yesterday is now the past!So TODAY choose to write that new chapter! Start that new goal, be happy, be healthy! Write your next chapter!!

How Helping Working Moms GET FIT Changed my Life & Business!

July 2016, I was super excited to celebrate my 30th birthday but as I reflected on where I was in life, I was proud of what I had accomplished with my career, and my new 8-month-old daughter, but I couldn’t help but feel depressed about being so overweight.  My health and fitness took a back seat while I was busy balancing my career with being a new mom. I started to get discouraged after trying yet another fad diet and workout program after workout program and the inability to commit due to my schedule and help watching my daughter. I was trying to balance everything with my husband’s schedule but due to his crazy commute, it just wasn’t working.

I finally stumbled upon an opportunity to get fit from home with customizable programs, and easy nutrition plans and gifted it to myself for my birthday, after-all I had nothing to lose at this point, and was pretty much willing to try anything.  I committed to my new program, which ended up being a lifestyle change, and ended up losing over 30lbs in less than 4 months. (Working out and eating well-No magic pill/wrap) I documented my process on social media as well and I instantly grew a following of other busy moms that were looking for answers on how to get fit with a busy schedule. (I’m now down 53lbs)

When I saw this amazing community that needed help, I decided that I wanted to pay it back, and help other moms connect with programs that fit into their lifestyle and goals. Now in my free-time, I’m able to connect, and help hundreds of moms each month get back to their happy places. The programs focus on not just physical transformations, but the emotional, and self-confidence work that tends to be lingering when you don’t feel great about yourself. It’s been so rewarding and I have met some amazing people along the process and learned so much about health & fitness.

  This process and opportunity has totally transformed my life and business as well. I start my days earlier, work more efficient, and am totally more productive. I’m happier, more engaged and I just feel amazing about life. I’m more structured with my day, and focused so I’m getting my work done in half the time it took me before, and I’m not running on empty and tired anymore so I’m maximizing my time each day. I also have started reading more books and doing research to help me learn more ways to help my clients and become a better leader to my team and peers. Plus my sales and NET New clients have BOTH increased due to my re-focus and excitement! 

Who would have thought that so much could change by just taking care of my health & fitness and sharing my journey to help others?

Healthy Mac & Cheese for my Toddler

sophias-mac-cheeseSo as you may know, each week I do Meal Prep for my husband and I. This week I started implementing it on a smaller scale for my daughter for 2 reasons

  1. To Save Money
  2. To Eat Healthier

The past few months, she’s been eating a Gerber Graduates Mac & Cheese. She enjoys it but if you read the ingredients you can tell it’s not the best for your little one.

Also 1 pack is almost $2*!!

So for a total of $3.50 I made an entire week’s worth of Mac & Cheese with Turkey Meat for her Lunch and Dinner!! Yes, it’s boring to eat the same thing, but at this point she doesn’t really know what she’s eating, and she loves Mac & Cheese. We may so a different meal a couple nights this week to switch it up.

But now, she’s eating a healthier version of Mac & Cheese, and it’s saving me about $10.50!**

*Note- I used only 1/2 the package of ground turkey. The Mac & Cheese was $0.99

**Note- For those who want the Math-Sophia would eat 1/2 a Gerber Graduates pack per meal so $14 for the week, mine $3.50 = $10.50 🙂
